and Lansdowne

The prices for these properties range from $200K to $250K.

"Every year, more and more immigrants come to Canada from different parts of the world,
such as China, India, Philippines, Pakistan, United States, Iran, United Kingdom, Korea,
Colombia, and France among other countries.

As you gain more experience and better grasp of how it is to be in Canada, you may start to ask whether
it's already a good time to start prospecting for a home that you can call your own.

The question therefore goes: Are you ready to be a homeowner? The challenge for home buyers is
to assess how equipped they are in getting into the market.

Many prospective buyers, for different reasons, end up realizing they are not at all
prepared after going through the initial steps of home search.
Some don't finish the process they thought they could...

A Signal to Better Stability To The Housing Market?

A Signal to Better Stability To The Housing Market?

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada  -

In a news release posted by the The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) on May 4, 2009, the housing market has come to a more even balanced state. This indicates that there are more buyers who show participation in the market while we see lesser number of home sellers.

The increase in demand by the buyers is beginning to be more apparent.

And if this activity continues and there are only few participating sellers around, this could help Greater Vancouver home prices become more stable.

Reasons Why First-time Buyers are attracted in the Current Market

Reasons Why First-time Buyers are attracted in the Current Market

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada -

Although the current condition in the Greater Vancouver real estate is still attractive to the first-time home buyers, one must remember that this current state of home prices won't be there forever.

We participate in a cyclical market. Therefore, first-time buyers who have been eyeing an opportunity to own a home should take time to find out how they can make use of the benefits of being a home owner.

In the last couple of months, we have been seeing a greater level of interest from first-time buyers.

Some of the reasons why they continue to get attracted are:

  1. Very low interest rates
  2. Affordability (in home prices)
  3. Great savings by availing government incentives for first-time buyers

In the long run, home buyers could see the value of acting upon their decision to be a home owner, when they start to enjoy the benefits that go with home ownership.

Tweeting with Tactic or Genuine Tweet?

Tweeting with Tactic or Genuine Tweet?

I've posted yesterday, Sunday, May 24th a topic on Twitter on my book blog (You Are Privileged). Most people find Twitter useful in promoting variety of interests. Some do tweet with a focus on their personal daily experience, individual views, certain issues, while some post web links. Others are actively promoting their corporate services and products.

Here are my notes:

---

It has been an interesting day for me on Twitter. I have met several new followers which made this day especially overwhelming yet fulfilling.  When you are on Twitter, you get to know more people as they share news and other relevant information on the net.

But how do you use Twitter so that people recognize that you tweet with value?

I have come across one tweet that says he is almost getting tired of receiving promotional or selling tactics using Twitter.

I agree when somebody said, the best way to sell is to market yourself first. Who could not agree with that?

Indeed, I believe that when you give value to your readers or followers, then that will be the starting point when you could build your credibility. You can accomplish this by genuinely providing the benefits your readers can get if they decide to tweet with you.

People will start to acknowledge the great things that you do when they see your genuine interest to interact with them rather than a one-way street tweet.

In this way, you and your followers are both in a win-win situation.

Convenient Living at Vancouver's Condo

Convenient Living at Vancouver's Condo

How could one not look at the possibility of owning a piece of luxury mixed with affordability?

A few years ago, we have seen the rise of condominium development at the Collingwood side of Vancouver. Since the development is situated in a strategic location, it boasts access to obvious convenience.

Its proximity to public transportation is apparently one of the benefits of those who have recently owned properties in the area. To date, this continues to attract prospective home buyers.

The Joyce sky train station leads you to other major locations throughout the Lower Mainland.  Not to mention, recreation and shops nearby promise a better experience.

One of the developments in the area of Collingwood that one might have an interest in is the URBA condominium. As per the MLS, there are at least nine units available in this complex, with one or two bedroom units. Price ranges from 299K to 399K.

If you are interested to arrange an appointment to view the condo units:

Where the Housing Market in BC is headed

Where the housing market in BC is headed

Recent reports say that the season of Spring could be the testing point where the sector of housing might most likely go.

We have observed the prices of homes; or how real estate have gone relatively low after a decade of watching houses that command high price.

Although, it's still a buyer's market, analysts see an analogy that the increase of prices this month of March could mean that the market has already hit the lowest point or it might simply indicate that it's typical of the season.

Here's an interesting article which reports an indicator where the housing market is headed in BC.
